Mount Rainier

This piece reflects my first hike. Washington was full of first experiences for me, and this was one of the most meaningful. I went with a new friend on a clear day in April, and standing there,

it felt like I was closer to the sky than ever before.

This work reminds me that many of the most beautiful moments come from stepping into the unknown. Leaving our comfort zone can feel difficult, but it often leads us somewhere we never imagined we could reach.
